Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter in response to the discussion we had on January 22, 2013, during our visit at your wholesale store. I wish to formally place an order for 2000 pairs of sports socks for our community’s football team. The pairs must be in three sizes – small, medium and large- with the total adding up to 6000 pairs of socks.

According to our meeting, we expect the delivery in the next three weeks at the mentioned address. We are sending half of the payment, which will be delivered to you in two days, while the remaining amount will be delivered upon inspection.

In case you fail to deliver the order in the due date, we will be entitled to a 20% discount as opposed to the 10% you had offered earlier. The price of a single pair, as per our discussion, will be $5, inclusive of tax and deliver y charges.

This is the first time that we are working with you and I hope that we have a long business relationship. If you have any queries, let us know by no later than February 5.
